2026 has started with such promise and my word for the year is Health. In that realm, I have made some goals to try to ensure that I am healthier by the end of the year than when the year started.
Spiritual
- Read at least 6 spiritual books (2/6)
- Change your words, change your life by Joyce Meyer
- Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World
- Pray the rosary every day for at least 30 weeks of the year
- This is harder than expected
- Go to church 52 times
- (6 down 46 to go) I went to two churches while in Alabama does that count?
Physical
- Jog once per week at least 30 times
- Week one jogged 1 time
- Week 2-8 I know I went at least 2-3 more times
- Beat You vs the Year
- already at 13 percent
- Aim to eat 5-6 fruits/veggies every day
- Get 10k steps at least 3 times per week (try to average 10k per year)
Monetarily
- Read at least 20 books that I own

- Try to spend less than 100 dollars a week on groceries
- Week one 57.47
- week 2 less than 50 dollars (we bought other stuff as well)
- week 3-8 not sure, but I don't think we went over 100
Travel
- Get a US passport
- travel overseas
