Week 4 of 52

  1. Eat 80% AIP Paleo- I think I did really good this week. 

2. Try to get under 170 by 12/31/2022- I will weigh myself once per month on the first weekend of the month

a. Change to recessed lighting

4. Fix the banister- tighten screws

5. Paint and stain the deck/fence

6. Fix the screen door

7. Fix the front door

8. Fix the front window

9. Fix the fence (gate)

10. Paint my office

11. Paint the wall in my daughter's room

12. Paint the house- This may wait for another year

13. Read one spiritual book per month

a. The book of joy

b. Experiencing spirituality

14. Read one history/biography or memoir/classic per quarter 

a. Lincoln's last Trial: The Murder Case that Propelled him to the Presidency- really interesting read

15. New goal Beat You vs the Year (again)

a. I have already walked 100km this year (Next goal is 200km)

16. Read ten books I already own

a. The kite runner

b. Go tell the bees that I am gone

c. Common Sense

17. Buy a refrigerator

18. Research yield shield- come up with a plan

a. Determine what's needed for five year in the yield shield

19. New bedroom furniture

20. Try one new AIP Paleo recipe per month

a. One Pan eggroll on a plate- An absolute winner

b.  Beef Stew- delicious-made it twice

21. Cross one thing off the to see list per month

- a. George Washington Masonic National Memorial- closed to visitors, but I was able to drive around and admire it. I call that a win.

BRRRRRRRRRRR

 It was 12 degrees when I walked the dog this morning. I cannot believe that it was so cold! I think I will enjoy a nice cup of hot tea to stave off the cold. How are you saying NO to the cold?

Week 3 of 52

 1. Eat 80% AIP Paleo- This was difficult this last week. I would say on average, I ate about 75%. The closer I eat to this, the better I feel and vice versa.

2. Try to get under 170 by 12/31/2022- I will weigh myself once per month on the first weekend of the month

WHEW... Made it through another week

This week was tough. However, last night was amazing. I got to go to dinner with my husband at one of our favorite joints- Chasin' Tails.

The food was delicious, the service was fantastic and I really got to enjoy spending time with my fella.

On the list for this weekend:

1. Clean the bathroom, bedroom, and the stairs

2. Meal prep for the week

3. Finish my book

Tuesday Blues

 Hello all,

I have the Tuesday Blues. What I am really wondering is why is it not Friday? Why do I have to work every day? 


Some things I am thankful for in my job:

1. My boss- She is pretty awesome

2. I get to use my brain

3. I get to work from home during the pandemic

4. I like my co-workers

5. I get to help people


Yay Tuesday Blues are not as bad now. How do you get yourself out of a mood?

This was the week of recovery. There was some kind of pestilence in the house last week and the big goal was to survive/thrive. Also snow/cold. Did I mention that I hate the snow and cold?

Weekly Highlights

Hello world! Today I organized 1.5 cabinets with all of the rest to go. I did not realize that there were so many cabinets to go through. I would show you the before and after, but no one really wants to see that... do they? 


I think I am going to start working toward my business analyst certification this year. It will help me if anything happens to the sweet gig I have now.
